Integrity & Industry

While working for a digital agency partially owned by football legend, Gary Neville, the team and I had the opportunity to immerse ourselves into what sports experience could be in the digital era. Exploring offline and online transitions for seamless handoffs and match-day interactions. This led to the opportunity to create Salford City FC’s first-ever digital presence.

Working in a small team of a UX researcher, a Business Analyst, myself as a Lead Designer, and a couple of talented developers, we created a fully responsive website, offline media, and digital brand guidelines. With the club growing, a highlight of the site for the fans was the functionality to book tickets, which had previously been a fully offline process.

We balanced this by introducing new corporate hospitality options. I worked with internal marketing teams to help art direct a new photography style that fit their gritty and powerful beginnings and made this the base of the design. I chose bold, impactful design elements to keep an emphasis on their industrial feel.
